Overview

Outreach Tutor - paying 30 per hour - Location Essex - part time/full time - Starting ASAP

We are recruiting experienced outreach tutors for our young people in the community who are unable to access education in mainstream school settings. You will be teaching the learners.

• Work 1:1 with young people with various needs/backgrounds such as Autism, learning difficulties, trauma etc. They are very keen learners who don t want to quit on education; provide a positive learning environment while keeping them engaged and supporting their educational achievements. Student age group can vary from EYFS to GCSE/Functional Skills Level.

• Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, QTLS, PGDE, Degree
• Previous 1 year experience (Ideally in similar or SEN/SEMH background)
• Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate learner s needs
• Have strong knowledge of English, Maths and Science and be able to tutor learners in these subjects
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one (we can assist you with this)
