Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in Colchester on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, particularly those who may require additional academic or emotional support.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

* Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs (where applicable)

* Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

* Monitor and record pupil progress

* Encourage independence and confidence in learners

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Have previous experience working in a school or educational setting

* Be patient, caring, and adaptable

* Have strong communication and teamwork skills

* Be passionate about supporting children’s development

* Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent – desirable but not essential)
