Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience supporting students with autism in an educational setting? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our thriving secondary school community in Harlow.

• As a Teaching Assistant specialising in autism support, you will:
• Work closely with students with ASD to help them access learning and achieve their full potential
• Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions tailored to individual needs
• Help develop personalised strategies to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and promote positive behaviour
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals
• Contribute to an environment where every student feels valued, understood, and supported

• We are seeking someone who:
• Has experience working with children or young people with autism (ideally in a school setting)
• Understands the challenges and strengths associated with ASD
• Is patient, empathetic, and proactive
• Can build strong, supportive relationships with students
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

• Relevant training (e.g., Autism Awareness, TEACCH, ADHD awareness, or behaviour support) is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
