Complex Needs LSA — We are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs LSA to join our secondary schools in Chelmsford, starting immediately. This full-time role is ideal for someone with the skills and compassion to work closely with students requiring tailored support in their educational journey.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex learning needs.
  • Assist teaching staff in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
  • Implement strategies to promote independence and confidence among students.
  • Support students with personal care where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Contribute to the development and review of individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements
  • Have experience working with children or young people with complex needs.
  • Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting student development.
  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to individual needs.
