Learning Mentor SEN School Heybridge Immediate Start Full-Time
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?
The Role- Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students
- Support students with Learning management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
- Build positive and professional relationships that promote confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
- Work closely with Pastoral Leaders, Heads of Year, SENCOs, Safeguarding Teams, and Teaching Staff
- Implement targeted intervention strategies to improve behaviour, attendance, and outcomes
- Support students both inside and outside the classroom
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual
- Experience working with young people in education, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or support settings
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence supporting students with challenging Learning and additional needs
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
- Graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, support workers, and psychology graduates are highly encouraged to apply
- £92.59 £ 120 per day (depending on experience)
- Fortnightly pay reliable and consistent
- Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement
- Excellent experience for careers in teaching, educational psychology, social work, counselling, youth work, safeguarding, SEND, SEMH, and pastoral support
