Learning Mentor SEN School Heybridge Immediate Start Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?

• Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students
• Support students with Learning management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
• Build positive and professional relationships that promote confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
• Work closely with Pastoral Leaders, Heads of Year, SENCOs, Safeguarding Teams, and Teaching Staff
• Implement targeted intervention strategies to improve behaviour, attendance, and outcomes
• Support students both inside and outside the classroom
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual
• Experience working with young people in education, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or support settings
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence supporting students with challenging Learning and additional needs
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
• Graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, support workers, and psychology graduates are highly encouraged to apply

• £92.59 £ 120 per day (depending on experience)
• Fortnightly pay reliable and consistent
• Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement
• Excellent experience for careers in teaching, educational psychology, social work, counselling, youth work, safeguarding, SEND, SEMH, and pastoral support
