Are you passionate about helping students succeed in maths? We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Maths Tutor to provide tailored support to a student in a school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's education.
About the Role:- Provide individualised maths tuition to a student who requires additional support.
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure targeted learning
. - Adapt teaching methods to suit the student's learning style and needs.
- Build confidence and motivation in maths.

- Part time and full time depending on availability - Minimum rate of pay
- Minimum rate 25 per hour - Hours
- Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
- Accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
- In-house Training and Development Team
The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
