As an SEN Teaching Assistant
, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to provide individual and small-group support to pupils who may need additional assistance in the classroom. Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN would be beneficial, although the most important qualities are a positive attitude, resilience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
