Nursery Teacher

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to join a primary school in Harlow on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately.

The school is looking for a qualified teacher who has experience working within Nursery or EYFS and is confident planning and delivering learning for young children.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting children's learning and development within the Nursery setting.

The role will include:

• Planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities
• Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS framework
• Creating a safe, engaging and well-organised learning environment
• Supporting learning through a mixture of adult-led activities and child-initiated play
• Observing and assessing children's progress
• Supporting children's communication, language, social and emotional development
• Working with other members of the Early Years team
• Maintaining a positive and consistent approach to behaviour and routines
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and, where appropriate, parents/carers
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed

The school is looking for a qualified teacher with QTS who has experience working with children in an Early Years or Nursery setting.

You should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching or working within Nursery/EYFS
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Be confident planning and delivering activities independently
• Have good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be able to build positive relationships with young children
• Work well as part of a team
• Be reliable, organised and professional

Both experienced teachers and teachers with strong Early Years experience who are looking for their next long-term role will be considered.
