Project Manager Water Infrastructure (Civil Engineering)

We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a strong background in water-sector civil engineering to support major infrastructure programmes across Essex.

This role involves leading multi‑disciplinary teams, managing contractors, overseeing programme delivery, and ensuring projects meet regulatory, safety, environmental and quality standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, supply‑chain partners, and statutory bodies to deliver essential water‑network upgrades and enhancement schemes.

• Day Rate: £450–£475 per day
• Engagement:
  Umbrella or Outside IR35
• Duration:
  Initial 6‑month rolling contract, extendable up to 5 years

Opportunities to support major long‑term frameworks.

• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects in the water/wastewater sector.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience overseeing contractors, CDM compliance, and site delivery.
• Ability to manage budgets, programmes and risk registers.
