About the role

As Financial Reporting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role at the heart of the Group's finance function, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and helping drive excellence across both external and internal reporting. You'll take the lead on the monthly consolidation process, ensure robust statutory compliance, and provide the business with clear, meaningful financial insights that support informed decision-making. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong finance professional with deep expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP and audit, who can confidently balance detailed analysis with a strategic, big-picture perspective.

Working in close partnership with the Group Financial Controller, you'll also have the chance to contribute to a wide variety of projects, making a real impact in a fast-paced, growing organisation.

  • Assist with accurate and timely reporting at month-end closing.
  • Prepare the Group consolidation on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy across multiple currencies and entities.
  • Prepare UK annual financial statements under FRS 101 and the Group Annual Report under IFRS.
  • Review financial reporting of overseas subsidiaries and liaise with external providers to complete and file local statutory financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and local statutory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Drive process improvements and reporting automation, strengthening internal controls and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate year-end returns.
  • Partner with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, providing clear financial reporting guidance.
