Private Client Tax Senior​/Manager

Full Time Office Based

I'm working with a successful Essex-based firm of Chartered Accountants, who are experiencing unprecedented growth and are looking to strengthen their Tax team.

Working closely with the Tax Director, you will manage a mixed portfolio of clients including HNW individuals, Directors, Self-Employed individuals, Subcontractors and Partnerships, providing both compliance and advisory support.

• Involvement in advisory and capital gains tax work
• Opportunity to manage a varied and interesting client portfolio

• Manage a mixed portfolio of clients including HNW individuals, Directors, Self-Employed, Subcontractors and Partnerships
• Prepare Personal Tax Returns and Self-Employed/Partnership accounts
• Support the Tax Director with ad hoc advisory projects
• Undertake Capital Gains Tax work, including 60-day property reporting
• Deal directly with HMRC and client queries
• Prepare P11D's

• At least 3 years' experience working within a busy tax department in UK practice
• Strong practical/technical knowledge of personal tax
• Experience in a client-facing role with confident communication skills
• Good IT skills and a proactive approach
