Corporate Tax Manager

A leading independent accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing tax team in Essex. The firm has a strong reputation for supporting owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses, offering a mix of compliance and advisory work across a varied client base.

• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
  , including compliance and advisory work
• Acting as a trusted advisor to owner-managed businesses
• Supporting on corporate reorganisations, transactions, and profit extraction strategies
• Advising on R&D tax relief, capital allowances, and tax-efficient planning
• Reviewing corporation tax returns, computations, and client correspondence
• Leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Collaborating with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions

• ACA / ATT qualified, with CTA qualified or in progress
• Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory
• Good knowledge of R&D reliefs, capital allowances, and restructuring work
• Confident communicator, able to explain complex tax matters clearly
• Commercially aware, proactive, and a collaborative team player
• Experience managing junior staff and building client relationships
