Tax Senior

Tax Semi-Senior (ATT Qualified or Qualified by Experience) Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum An established accountancy practice is seeking a Tax Semi-Senior to join its friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to develop their career within a modern, client-focused firm that offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of interesting and complex clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play an important role in delivering high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of sole trader year-end accounts, financial statements, and tax computations. Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements and implementation. Providing tax and financial support to a varied client portfolio. Supporting strategic consultancy and financial management services where required. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Working closely with senior management to ensure excellent client care and smooth day-to-day operations.

Contributing ideas and initiatives to improve efficiency, processes, and technology within the practice. About You Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment is essential. ATT qualified, or qualified by experience with a minimum of 5 years' relevant practice experience. Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. A proactive approach and an interest in improving systems and ways of working.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
