A well-established independent accountancy and advisory firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior based in Essex to join its growing tax team. The firm has a strong reputation for supporting owner-managed and growing businesses, offering a collaborative environment focused on development and progression.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in corporate tax compliance who is looking to build their advisory experience.

• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, covering compliance and advisory work
• Supporting on structuring and tax planning for growing businesses
• Advising on R&D tax relief and capital allowances
• Assisting with HMRC enquiries and tax risk management
• Supporting corporate reorganisations and transaction work
• Advising on profit extraction strategies for business owners
• Maintaining a level of compliance work to support technical development

• ACA or ATT qualified, with CTA completed or in progress
• Strong knowledge of corporation tax and associated reliefs
• Keen to move into more advisory-focused work
• Proactive, commercially aware, and motivated to develop
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical matters clearly
