The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is up to £22.00 per hour all inclusive.

Essential skills- Experience of undertaking role of Medicines.
- Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting. (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling).
- Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
- Holds the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
- 2 years NHS experience.
- Undertake a range of dispensing and medicines supply functions to provide an efficient pharmaceutical service to wards and departments.
- Dispensing medications
- Labelling pharmaceuticals
- Preparing medications
- Accuracy checking of pharmaceuticals
- Issuing of pharmaceuticals
- Some aspects of stock control
- Management of pharmaceutical supplies
- Provide technical support to the dispensary, which encompasses:
Dispensing prescriptions, Checking prescriptions for accuracy
