Cloud Consultant

Overview

Nigel Frank is recruiting for an established and growing Managed Service Provider based in Basildon, Essex. They are looking to bring on an experienced Cloud Consultant to support project delivery and client engagements across Microsoft cloud and networking technologies. This is a hybrid position with flexible working and occasional on-site client visits.

As a Cloud Consultant
, you’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and supporting cloud and infrastructure solutions for a varied client base. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients, contribute to pre-sales activity, and act as a senior technical point of escalation within the business.

• Delivering cloud and network-based projects from design through to implementation
• Carrying out technical audits, discovery sessions, and pre-sales assessments
• Acting as an escalation point and mentoring junior engineers
• Supporting new client onboarding and ensuring ongoing SLA standards are met
• Advising clients on best-fit cloud, networking, and infrastructure solutions

• 3+ years’ experience delivering cloud and infrastructure projects
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Intune, and core networking
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical teams and end clients
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and work autonomously
• Previous MSP or client-facing consulting experience highly beneficial

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
• Microsoft and infrastructure certifications (e.g. MCP, MCSE, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) advantageous

• Salary up to £50,000
• Hybrid working with a flexible approach

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required for this role due to occasional client site visits.
