A Law firm based in East London seek an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Secretary to join them on a full time permanent basis.

This well-regarded, family-run law firm is seeking a highly detail-focused individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to contribute to a close-knit and collaborative team.

This role will be 5 days in office, working 9-5.

Please note this role is not suitable for a paralegal or those wishing to pursue a fee earning career.

This role will support their Senior Partner with:

  • Supporting throughout the post-completion processes
  • Assisting with AML checks
  • Maintaining SRA compliance records
  • Preparing invoices andliwe statements
  • Assisting with standard conveyancing forms
  • Carrying out Land Registry applications
  • Completing SDLT returns
  • Working on basic contracts
  • Printing, photocopying, scanning, filing paperwork
  • Preparing engrossment
  • File management
  • General office and legal administration
