The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity, and new‑build transactions.
  • Advising clients on all stages of the conveyancing process, from initial instruction to post‑completion, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Drafting and reviewing key documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
  • Conducting title investigations and handling complex issues such as shared ownership, Help to Buy, lease extensions, and right to buy.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to keep all parties informed and ensure a high level of client care.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and compliance requirements, ensuring transactions are processed in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years PQE in residential property law.
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and experience managing a high‑volume caseload independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client‑centric approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide clear, practical advice.
  • Detail‑oriented, highly organised, and able to manage deadlines effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
