Transport Planner
Location: London Gateway, Standford-le-Hope
Salary: 45,000 – 50,000 + Company Car
We're supporting a well-established haulage business looking for an experienced Container Transport Planner to join their transport team. This is a key role within a fast-paced operation, ideal for someone confident in container logistics and daily planning.
Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate around 20 container vehicles across the fleet, ensuring efficient utilisation, on-time performance, and clear communication with drivers and customers.
- Use TOPS daily to manage workloads and respond quickly to operational changes.
- Previous container planning experience (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of TOPS (essential)
- Background in haulage / container transport operations
- Solid understanding of UK WTD laws
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- 45,000 – 50,000 salary
- Electric company car
- Strong, stable business with genuine progression potential
