Buyer; Aerospace; -Hybrid

A global leader within the aerospace/aviation market is looking for a dynamic individual to join their fast-growing team as a Buyer in Essex (hybrid: 3 days per week in the office).

You will be responsible for delivering sourcing projects, managing suppliers and leading the analyis of demand, risk and market trends, to ensure the timely procurement of materials and components.

• Source and select suppliers based on quality, cost, capability and delivery performance
• Lead RFQs, analyse quotations, and drive commercial negotiations to secure best value
• Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to align sourcing strategies and requirements
• Monitor and manage supplier performance using KPIs, ensuring cost savings, efficiency and reliability
• Support new product introductions, cost reduction initiatives, and maintain accurate supplier data within systems

• 3+ years’ experience in buying/procurement (aerospace preferred, but open to manufacturing backgrounds)
• Negotiation, contract management, and sourcing skills
• Systems-savvy, with experience using Excel, ERP/MRP and CRM platforms
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
