Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join the factory team of a large, well-established ductwork manufacturing company. This role will focus on the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal ductwork and associated components, working within a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricating sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and components

Working with galvanised steel, aluminium, and other metals

Operating sheet metal machinery such as guillotines, folders, rollers, and presses

Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and specifications

Measuring, marking out, cutting, and assembling sheet metal products

Ensuring finished products meet quality and tolerance requirements

Following factory health & safety procedures at all times

Maintaining tools, machinery, and a clean work area

Working to production schedules and deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Ductwork Fabricator

Experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Knowledge of sheet metal machinery and safe operating procedures

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a production team

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience fabricating HVAC or ventilation ductwork

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Sheet Metal Work, Fabrication, or Engineering

Experience with spiral or rectangular duct systems

Forklift licence
