Responsibilities
  • Draw up a training plan for Mandatory and Statutory training requirements, personal development, and continuing education for facilities services teams.
  • Draw up a Domestic Services training needs analysis process with appropriate delivery methods and post training evaluations.
  • Devise and deliver appropriate and regular training activities for Domestic Services staff (temporary staffing and permanent) service-related subjects (technical skills and knowledge, safe and effective use of equipment, personal/soft skills).
  • Implement solutions on any training related performance issues.
  • Produce all training materials (presentations, hand‑outs, session plans and course reports).
  • Work closely with management, ensure that policies, programmes and processes are developed, implemented, communicated and consistently administered in compliance with organisational objectives and with relevant law/regulations.
  • Bespoke training for Supervisors and Managers and support and performance related issues.
  • Produce individual training and development plans and opportunities for on‑going staff development working in conjunction with service management.
  • Deal effectively and consistently with training referrals for Domestic Services staff and provide opportunities for on‑going development.
  • Manage, lead, motivate and develop Training Team members.
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered.
