Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum FTE
Hours: Part-time – 19 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Oncology Nurse
to join a specialist oncology team within a leading private healthcare provider in Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced oncology nurse looking to take on a senior role within a dedicated oncology setting, supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
The RoleAs a Senior Oncology Nurse, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the oncology service, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and helping to maintain high standards of clinical care and patient safety.
You will also have the opportunity to take a lead within the nursing team, working independently while supporting colleagues and contributing to the continued development of the service.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, high-quality nursing care to oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapy and SACT treatments in line with clinical protocols.
Support the organisation and coordination of oncology care.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to members of the nursing team.
Work confidently and independently within a specialist oncology environment.
Ensure patient safety, dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the oncology service.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated oncology nurse who can demonstrate:
NMC Registered Nurse status.
Relevant post-registration qualification or recognised training in chemotherapy administration / SACT
.Previous experience working within oncology.
Experience administering chemotherapy/SACT.
The ability to lead and support a nursing team.
The confidence to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Salary of up to £45,000 FTE
. (pro rata for part time)Part-time working –
