Gp Practice Nurse

Chase Cross Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated GP Practice Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing general nursing services, childhood immunizations, cervical smears, and managing clinics for vaccinations and insulin injections. You will also engage in patient education and chronic disease management including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, all QOF and LIS.

• Provide general nursing services, Childhood immunizations, cervical smears.
• Contribute to patient health by running and managing clinics for conditions such as Vaccination and insulin injections.
• Engage in patient education, offering advice and guidance on health topics.
• Chronic disease management including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, all QOF and LIS.

We are based in a busy shopping area of Collier Row, North Romford. We have a patient list of nearly 8000. We have 2 full time partners, 1 practice nurse, 5 permanent locums and whole bunch of back and front room staff

• Provide general nursing services, Childhood immunizations, cervical smears.
• Contribute to patient health by running and managing clinics for conditions such as Vaccination and insulin injections.
• Engage in patient education, offering advice and guidance on health topics.
• Chronic disease management including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, all QOF and LIS.

• Valid NMC Registration.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a practice nurse.
• Right to work within the UK
• Commitment to evidence based practice.
• Fulfil the compliance requirements of our framework, including those related to DBS, Occupational Health, and an updated CV.
• Trained on EMIS Web, willing to provide a re-fresh if needed.
