No, the role is site based 5 days per week 8 am to 4 pm
- Managing the workloads of the inspection department consisting of 4 Quality Inspectors
- Supporting the team with any issues
- Providing training, development and mentorship to the team on how to inspect parts, how to review documentation, how to use metrology tools to ensure accurate inspection
- Ensuring that all inspection activities comply with company, customer and legal requirements
- Identification of NCRs, and assisting with root cause investigations to improve quality and efficiency
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on quality issues to find solutions
- Act as escalation for any major issues
- Manage, review and action non-conformities and supplier returns
- Identify and lead continuous improvement activities to improve quality processes
- Perform inspection on incoming and outgoing parts
- Maintain all required documentation
- Create, manage and review FAIRs
- Proven experience of working in quality inspection is essential
- Experience of working in highly regulated industries and to stringent standards is essential - ISO
9001, TH16949, ISO
13485, AS9100 - Team leader, mentoring and people development skills
- Detail focused
- ISO 2859-1 experience preferred
- Proficient with the use of metrology tools - verniers, micrometers essential. Faro Arm / CMM beneficial
