Agricultural Technician – Tip Top Job

Join Tip Top Job  as an Agricultural Technician. We are a well‑established specialist supplier of commercial mowing and grounds‑care equipment, specialising in refurbished, new and hire machinery.

This full‑time permanent role offers hybrid working options, a salary range of GBP 33,000 – 40,250, and a range of benefits. You will primarily work in our workshop, with some on‑site attendance for service and repair tasks.

• Recondition machinery to a high standard, supported by structured in‑house training.
• Diagnose mechanical and basic automatics faults across a range of equipment.
• Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure machinery is safe, reliable and fit for purpose.
• Attend occasional on‑site service and repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, PCV Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Agricultural Service Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Mechanic, Plant Technician, Forklift Engineer, Forklift Mechanic, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Grounds Maintenance Technician, Tractor Service Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, Groundcare Engineer, Groundcare Machinery Mechanic, Groundcare Mechanic or a similar role.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical work.
• Experience with mowers, tractors, ground‑care machinery or agricultural equipment (not essential).
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding and problem‑solving capability.
• Reliable, honest and with a strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary: GBP 33,000 – 40,250 per annum.
