Downtown Parking Security Officer

Location: Burlington, VT

Pay: $21/hr

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm (first shift) or 11:00 pm – 7:00 am (second shift)

Full‑time and part‑time shifts available. No security experience required. Growth opportunities available.

• Strong customer service skills
• High level of professionalism
• VT Guard Card (Securitas will assist with application)
• At least 21 years old

• Actively patrol the facility on foot, including stairwells and ramps
• Engage with customers and ask disruptive individuals to move on
• Cycle through downtown garage areas using a marked vehicle in a systematic manner
• Ensure no loitering, sleeping or other disruptive behavior on or near the property
• Call police as necessary to ensure health and safety of staff and public
• Respond to customer needs appropriately
• Be helpful and courteous
• Direct customers to garage staff as appropriate
• Submit a standardized daily report of activities, including tour reporting, lock/unlocking of doors, abnormal incidents, mechanical failures, maintenance and cleaning needs
