Essential Job Functions:

The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:

• This work will entail removal of pipes/exhaust ducts/vent lines at heights ranging from 6' to 15' working from a ladder or scaffolding.
• Communicate with colleagues, site supervisor and client's site manager including all safety personnel.
• Be a team player with the ability and willingness to pitch in as needed in areas outside core responsibilities and expertise. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Laborers:

• Ability to help maneuver pipe, pumps, and hoses.
• Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and supplies.
• Perform system construction activities in a safe and proper manner.
• Perform maintenance on system components to ensure or restore proper operation and compliance.
• Use of mechanical shearers/drills to cut through various ductwork/pipes working from scaffolding platform (~8 foot height on average).
• Thorough understanding of lockout/tagout protocol and utilities in general.
• Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and supplies.
• Perform daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to direct crew of 1-2 laborers.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of applicable experience working on a construction site.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to fifty (50) pounds on a non-consistent basis.
• Able to frequently lift or carry containers, poly pipe, pumps, hoses, loose material,; which may result in twisting, pulling, kneeling, pushing and bending, depending on the type of work.
• All work will be inside a heated industrial building.
• Work will be in a clean room environment and will involve jumpsuit, booties, hood and facial mask. Use of a half face respirator (Level
  
  C) will be necessary occasionally.
• Work in and around trenches, and from scaffolding/ladders.
