Job Description & How to Apply Below

Some people notice everything. The chart that's missing a form. The patient who seems more nervous than they're letting on. The five minutes that's about to turn into fifteen if nobody steps in. If that's you, we want to talk.

Who We Are

At Pelican Landing Dental, we take ownership instead of placing blame. We push each other to get better every day. We put the team first. And we don't take ourselves too seriously along the way. Ask anyone here and they'll tell you the same thing.

The Role

This role is built around one thing: making sure every patient feels taken care of from the moment they walk in. You'll be the steady presence at the front of the practice, on the phone, and everywhere in between.

Experience in a front desk, reception, scheduling, or patient coordination role is required. Dental or medical office experience preferred. Care Stack experience is a plus.

What You Bring
  • You Read the Room. You know when a patient needs a little extra reassurance and when they just want to get in and out. You adjust without being asked.
  • You Don't Let Things Slip. Forms, verifications, callbacks: you track what needs tracking and you don't let it go stale.
  • You're Steady on the Phones. You handle a full call queue without losing your patience or your polish. People can hear that you're paying attention.
  • You Show Up for the Team, Not Just the Job. When something needs doing that isn't technically yours, you do it anyway. You'd rather fix it than explain why it isn't your problem.
What You'll Need

Required: At least one year of experience in a front desk, reception, scheduling, or patient coordination role. Strong communication skills. A calm, professional presence under pressure.

Preferred: Experience with Care Stack or a similar practice management system. Insurance verification experience. Dental or medical office background.

Why You'll Love Working Here

A growth-oriented culture with a real path forward, not just a job title. A team that backs each other up. The chance to be part of a practice patients trust and refer their families to. Ongoing learning and professional development. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Benefits:
  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Employee discount
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
