Engineer, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Description

The Towne Place Suites Fort Myers-Estero, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Engineer.

The Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.

• Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems as needed
• Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise with the systems
• Coordinate with outside contractors as needed for larger repairs or installations
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Respond promptly to any emergency situations that arise
• Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekends
