Pay Rate: $21.01 - $24.69 per hour

Support position to provide patient care under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services setting. Responsible for implementing components of patient care through initiation and completion of procedures. Provides assistance to the physicians, nurses, staff, visitors and other departments.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire (American Heart Association BLS preferred); upon renewal BLS required. American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for Paramedics, not required for EMTs. Department approved de‑escalation training must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• License: Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic license required.
• Other: Accepts flexible scheduling including change of shift start times and/or change of shift date to meet department needs. Requires communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills. Ability to perform tasks within the EDT scope of practice. May have access to and transport non‑controlled medications as directed. Agrees to incorporate the following into daily practice:
