Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2317) – Join to apply for the Guest Advocate role at Target.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Return processing: attempt every return and follow register prompts; partner with leaders as needed to resolve guest needs while following policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage stock during store hours, supporting guest needs.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, and DU returns while adhering to applicable laws and company policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to educate guests about products and services and engage around them.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and with a team.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks within time frames.
