Title: Seasonal Part Time Crew Mate (Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate)

Department: Retail

Reports To: Captain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Management Trainee)

Responsible for assisting the management team in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise (“Every Day Should Feel This Good”) and makes service a top priority.

• Generate Sales
• Responsible for meeting goals/measures
• Develop and maintain relationships with top customers
• Support in-store event sourcing and execution
• Customer Experience
• Ensure the store reflects Shep & Ian’s vision of “Every Day Should Feel This Good” to our customers through “Hosting the Party
• Lead the store in email capture and educate new associates on best practices
• Ensure the customer wish list is always current with customers being notified when product arrives
• Crew Development
• Assist with training new associates
• Help foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment
• Help in recruiting and referring top talent for the store’s teams
• Support store and team-building activities with the management team
• Maintain efficient merchandise controls
• Maintain loss prevention awareness at all times
• Help maintain a clean and tidy store environment
• Merchandising
• Help to maintain merchandising as it pertains to company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives
• Contribute to weekly product feedback
