Overview

Tropex, Florida’s leading plant leasing and maintenance company, is seeking a dedicated Plant Installer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about plants and eager to contribute to creating beautiful, green spaces. As a Plant Installer, you will bring clients’ visions to life by placing plants and containers to enhance various environments.

• Plant Preparation: Prep plants prior to loading onto the truck, ensuring they are in good condition for installation.
• Loading and Transporting: Load plants, containers, and supplies onto the truck and transport them safely to job sites.
• Installation Excellence: Deliver and install plants at various sites per specifications, ensuring plants are staged, mossed, watered, and trimmed of dead foliage.
• Quality Control: Check relevant paperwork and materials before leaving for a job, ensuring everything needed is loaded and in order.
• Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with sales personnel and accompany the customer post-installation to confirm satisfaction with the service.
• Maintenance and Safety: Maintain tools and supplies, follow safe installation practices, and keep the vehicle clean and operational.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
• Adaptability: Comfort with heights and using ladders.
• Non-Smoker: Commitment to a smoke-free environment.
• Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record in the State of Florida for at least 3 years.
