Position: NOC 21201 - Landscape architects

Main Duties
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Prepare conceptual designs, schematic plans, and detailed landscape drawings including hard and soft landscaping elements.
  • Produce construction documentation, specifications, and cost estimates for tendering and construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and municipal authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and integration with site services.
  • Present design proposals and revisions to clients and stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final plans.
  • Provide construction administration, site inspections, and quality control during project implementation.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in landscape architecture or a closely related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in landscape design, site planning, or related project delivery.
  • A demonstrable portfolio of completed design projects across a range of site types.
  • Proficiency using design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM tools.
  • Knowledge of planting design, horticultural principles, construction materials, and methods.
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting processes, relevant building codes, and environmental regulations.
