We are seeking a qualified Power Engineering Instructor to teach and mentor students in the Power Engineering program in Estevan. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in power engineering and the ability to effectively communicate and engage students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver theoretical and practical instruction in Power Engineering concepts and practices.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on student performance through assessments, projects, and exams.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain and improve program quality.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate new knowledge into the curriculum.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Third Class Power Engineering Interprovincial Certificate (minimum or higher)
  • Two years of recent/relevant experience working as a Power Engineer
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, email, internet, and learning management systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom
