Southeast Library Children's Program Lead

This full-time, temporary position involves coordinating library programs for children, under the supervision of the Branch Manager. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in a related field and some post-secondary education, ideally ECE III.
Your role will encompass providing reference services and supporting overall library operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate programs for children from preschool to Grade 8/9
• Lead library initiatives and staff training
• Provide circulation desk services and reference assistance
• Incorporate technology strategies into library programming
• Engage effectively with the community and support library goals
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in program coordination
• Post-secondary education, specifically ECE III or similar
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Initiative in enhancing library services
