This permanent role is structured for a six-hour daily commitment aligned with school days. You will assist in planning life skills and academic programming while ensuring student transitions are smooth. Collaborating with teachers is essential to implementing tailored behavior and safety strategies, alongside supervising small student groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with high behavioral needs daily

• Assist in personal hygiene and medical requirements

• Plan and prepare academic programs based on student needs

• Supervise intensive needs students and small groups

• Transport students in personal vehicle as required
Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution

• Flexibility and adaptability to change

• Valid driver's license for transporting students

• Knowledge of educational computer software

• Educational assistant diploma or first aid training is an asset
