Position: Westview School Educational Assistant Role
Join Westview School in Estevan, SK as an Educational Assistant, specializing in support for diverse student needs. This temporary position runs from September 2, 2026, to June 25, 2027.

In this part-time role of three hours each student day, you’ll work closely with students requiring extra assistance. Your focus will be on personal support and planning life skills programs, while ensuring safe transitions and adherence to behavior plans. Adaptability and teamwork are crucial for effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with high behavioral needs effectively

• Collaborate with teachers to create individualized programming

• Lift and transport students safely

• Provide assistance with personal hygiene and medical needs

• Supervise intensive needs and small groups of students

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma from an accredited institution

• Valid driver’s license to assist with transport

• Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting

• Knowledge of relevant educational software

• Experience with First Aid or autism education preferred
