In this permanent role, you will work as an Educational Associate for students with behavioral needs. Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with personal hygiene, and implementing behavior plans. You will engage in planning life skills programming while adapting to the individual needs of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with diverse and high behavioral needs
• Prepare life skills and academic programming under teacher’s direction
• Supervise student transitions to work in groups
• Attend to personal hygiene and medical requirements
• Transport students when necessary using a personal vehicle
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution
• Valid driver’s license for student transport
• Experience with school computer software
• Educational assistant diploma or related credentials preferred
• Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team
Contribute to the success of students and public education as part of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.
