Join Oxbow Prairie Horizons School as an Educational Associate, where you will support students with unique needs. This temporary role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and crucial support skills.

Set to begin on September 2, 2026, the position offers three hours of daily work for the academic year. Your responsibilities will include facilitating students’ transitions, preparing academic programming, and implementing behavior plans. Flexibility and the ability to lift are necessary for assisting students, especially those with high behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in small groups and one-on-one settings

• Implement customized behavior and safety plans

• Support personal hygiene and medical needs for students

• Lift and transport students as needed

• Plan and prepare educational activities under teacher's guidance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma from a recognized board

• Knowledge of educational software tools

• Valid driver's license for student transportation

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

• Relevant educational qualifications and training are preferred
