Powerline Technician Instructor

As an instructor, you'll lead Levels 1 to 4 of the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship Technical Training Program. Your expertise will cover critical topics like pole climbing safety, AC and DC theory, and line design. You will also evaluate student progress and develop curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct Levels 1 through 4 of the Powerline Technician program
• Evaluate and maintain accurate records of student progress
• Cover key topics including rigging and ground disturbance procedures
• Serve as a subject matter expert for curriculum development
• Demonstrate and teach physical aspects of powerline training
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Powerline Technician
• 5 to 10 years experience as a journeyperson technician
• Experience in adult instruction or leadership roles preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and learning management systems
