Temporary Educational Assistant

Join Hillcrest School as a Temporary Educational Assistant to enrich student experiences in Estevan, SK. This role is focused on supporting students with diverse needs from September 2, 2026, to June 25, 2027.

The successful candidate will provide direct support to students with special requirements, attending to their personal hygiene and academic programming. Required duties involve flexibility in adapting to different situations and working collaboratively with staff to ensure a positive learning environment. Daily hours equate to 6 during school days, encompassing varied responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with high behavioral needs

• Plan and implement academic and life skills activities

• Supervise students in small groups

• Transport students when required using a personal vehicle

• Attend to health and hygiene requirements as necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma from a recognized institution

• Demonstrated ability to adapt and work in teams

• Valid driver’s license for transporting students

• Knowledge of applicable educational software

• Desired qualifications include First Aid or Autism training
