In this position, you will assist students with their academic and life skills under the direction of a teacher, supervise small groups, and manage behavioral safety needs. Adaptability and effective teamwork are vital for fulfilling the role successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lift and transport students appropriately
• Address personal hygiene and medical requirements
• Collaborate on student-specific life skills programs
• Implement behavioral and safety plans for students
• Manage supervision for small and intensive needs groups
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma required from a recognized institution
• Essential valid driver’s license for student transportation
• Flexibility and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with educational software tools
• Relevant educational assistant experience preferred
