We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing and Pipe fitting Instructor to join our team in Estevan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, with strong expertise in plumbing and gas fitting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Instruct and guide students in plumbing and pipe fitting principles, focusing on both theory and practical applications.
- Provide instruction and support to learners with varying learning and language abilities.
- Offer timely feedback and maintain positive communication with students to ensure successful learning outcomes.
- Maintain industry contacts and stay current on trends to ensure curriculum relevance.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in Plumbing, with a domestic gas fitters license (minimum) for Saskatchewan.
- Two years recent, relevant post-Journeyperson experience in Plumbing and Gas Fitting.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and instructional abilities.
- Competence with MS Office Suite, email, internet, and learning management systems.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and changing environments.
- A team-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
