Sask DLC requires a temporary full time (1.0 FTE) Course Development Teacher. The position will commence based on the availability of the successful candidate and end on June 25th, 2027. The campus location will be determined by the principal residence of the successful candidate.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Understand curriculum and assessment:
    Demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum requirements to develop instructional content that meets curricular outcomes
  • Drafting Instructional content:
    Use MS word to draft instructional content ensuring clarity and alignment with learning objectives
  • Collaboration with Course Development Team:
    Work closely on a project team with instructional content into the Moodle environment, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, design standards, and program guidelines. This includes actively seeking input from team members.
  • Envision and develop comprehensive plans for each course development project, ensuring all learning outcomes are met and assessed according to the Sask DLC Assessment, Grading, and Communication (AGC) Framework.

    Able to work collaboratively with Instructional Designers and other team members, demonstrating a willingness to provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Organizational Skill:
    Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in technical areas such as audio production, video editing, web development, or other relevant skills is beneficial but not required.
  • Soft Skills:

    Demonstrate soft skills such as adaptability, innovative thinking, teamwork and problem solving.
  • Seek out appropriate resources for course development and be prepared to engage with partners where opportunities exist.
