IAMGOLD is actively seeking an experienced Water Management Engineer at their Côté Gold Mine site.

Your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing dewatering solutions that ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with engineers, geologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive mine plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee open pit dewatering strategies

• Implement water management systems and monitor performance

• Conduct thorough feasibility and risk assessments

• Analyze slope stability and water balance data

• Regularly inspect dewatering systems to ensure functionality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, preferably with a master's

• Five years’ experience in mine water management

• Proficient in dewatering pumps and system design

• Experience with geotechnical analysis and software

• Preferred:
Professional Engineering certification
