Hours Of Work: Equivalent to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
• Valid Fireman's Certificate will be required to obtain within one year of start date
• Valid Driver's License
• Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
• Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred
• General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude
• Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
• Knowledge of computers and applicable software
• Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division

Salary & Benefits: Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website . The starting wage for this position is currently $24.14/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
