We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Machinist ticket, operate CNC machinery, interpret technical drawings, and produce precision components in a fast-paced environment.

Hours:

Option to work a 7‑day on/7‑day off schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, milling machines, boring mill and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Program CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances using CNC programming skills.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Select appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols, including forklift operation when necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and product quality.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Journeyman Machinist, or in a similar manufacturing role with mechanical knowledge of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming, with experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools accurately.
  • Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly procedures.
