Nurse in Critical Care Unit

With a strong foundation in critical care, this role reports to the Nurse Manager and involves providing nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards. Your responsibilities include organizing your workload effectively and ensuring high-quality care that aligns with both the philosophy of the unit and BCCNM guidelines. Commitment to patient safety and improvement in care processes is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in critical settings

• Ensure adherence to nursing policies and standards

• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

• Prioritize and manage your assigned workload

• Conduct arrhythmia interpretation as needed

Requirements:

• Must hold BC College of Nurses registration

• Minimum of 2 years critical care experience

• Successful completion of arrhythmia interpretation exam

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred

• CRRT experience is an asset
